In this film by Mike Robertson for The Orkney News we hear how people are being affected in the Shu'afat Refugee Camp by the dreadful decision by the Israeli Knesset to prevent UNRWA to continue its work. Orkney has links with Shu'afat and supports the work of the relief agency there.
Islanders in Orkney have been meeting every Saturday on the Kirk Green, outside St Magnus Cathedral, Kirkwall, between 1 and 2pm for over a year, calling for an immediate ceasefire, the unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid, and the release of all hostages.
