First of two days in Glen Shiel in January 2024. Supurb anti-cyclonic weather you sometimes get in Scotland in winter. Pretty rare but when you do Scotland can compete with any mountain range in the world for beauty and wildness. This is the most easterly ridge of Munros to the north of Glen Shiel and comprises Carn Ghluasaid, Sgurr nan Conbhairean and Sail Chaorainn but you have to re-ascend Sgurr nan Conbhairean pretty much back to the summit, so it effectively a 4 Munro day. And, no, I couldn't pronounce any of them...
