During stadium events, the Thornlie-Cockburn Line becomes a lot more interesting with 6-car trains running on it, as well as Stadium Special services from Mandurah running express through the whole elevated section. This means that all three train types are often seen running on the line at once, including 6-car A-Series. Prior to the opening of the Thornlie-Cockburn Line, this was a regular sight on the Yanchep and Mandurah Lines. However, A-Series have now been removed from service on these lines, and the Thornlie-Cockburn Line on stadium event days is now the only place where it is still possible to witness this. In this video, we spot trains at both Queens Park and Carlisle Stations during these interesting operations. In future videos I will also feature other stations along the line.
