Kohra returns on his own imprint - Qilla Records for a fantastic first release of the year, with remixes from Kotelett & Zadak, SHFT and FILM.

The title track is a journey into the acidic realm with a 303 woven into a heavy, loopy and infectious breakbeat groove. A warm, deep, cavernous dub cut that takes you through the cosmos in cinematic style.

‘Vedanta’ literally translates to 'the end of the vedas’. An ancient Indian philosophy with various schools of thought based around duality and non-duality. This track takes a hypnotic and melodic direction that Kohra is known for in his signature style.

Berlin-based Kotelett & Zadak are up first on remix duties. The duo are regulars at Katerblau and have previously released on some major labels like Poker Flat and Exploited Ghetto. They give the original a stripped-down variant that is spooky, mysterious and traps you in their alluring late night house atmosphere.

Acid Kidz gets a twisted rework by Qilla’s A&R and well known producer, SHFT. His approach, although unconventional, takes a more dance-floor centric version taking elements from the original and giving it a whole new interpretation. Wrapping up the EP is New Delhi based FILM who's played an integral role in the evolution of the underground sound of the bustling capital. FILM gives ‘Acid Kidz’ a contrasting and more abstract electronica meets drum n' bass direction.
