This experience taught me the power of community and stepping out of my comfort zone. My psychiatrist’s advice, “Being social is a skill, and if you don’t use it, you lose it,” inspired me to join a Facebook group, connect with other women campers, and attend this meetup — all in just 2.5 weeks!
