Blackstone Minerals have been working hard on the Ta Khoa Nickel project since Scott Williamson had the last Coffee with Samso.  I have always liked nickel and I still think that the good times are not here yet.  What Scott and his team are trying to define is a Nickel Sulphide deposit that will be payable to mine.  As in the property investment strategies, location is the most important component which will determine the ingredients within the rock types.  I do feel that Blackstone Minerals are in the right address and the recent drilling proves that they are taping some good mantle materials.

Form a geological point of view, these are critical components.  I do agree that there may be some sovereign issues but from what I am hearing, these are not creating any barriers.  As in these developing countries in Asia, economic development is of the utmost importance.  I have many business associates who tell me that Vietnam is no longer a sleepy place. Things are booming and the labour costs are no longer as they were in the past.  I am not saying that they are Western standards but they are definitely signs of economic growth.

I have always enjoyed my conversation with Scott and this is another great conversation as we learn of the discovery of Platinum, Palladium and Gold discovery in their recent exploration.  Mobilisation of multiple rigs to the site is a great sign that money is going into the ground.
