OLEKSII NOVIKOV - ARNOLD STRONGMAN CLASSIC 2024 - FRAME CARRY

Ukranian Pro Strongman Oleksii Novikov had a good start with 881 lb Timber Frame Carry, but just shy of the top of the ramp his right arm gave out from injury. The crowd held their breath as Oleksii examined his right biceps, comparing it with his left arm looking for any differences. Despite the injury, Novikov competed on day two of the ARNOLD STRONGMAN CLASSIC. Sadly, six weeks later (when leading the comp heading into the final event) he further injured the biceps at GIANTS LIVE Europe's Strongest Man, on the final Atlas Stone. He slipped to 3rd place overall - and then pulled out of the 2024 World's Strongest Man as well.
