For those of us who grew up on the Internet, spent our teens or young adult years shut in during a global pandemic, and now, as adults spend the majority of our lives working-- do any of us have lives? Social media is brainwashing people. Social isolation has caused a loneliness epidemic. We are living too much of our lives in our heads. I have to work hard not to get sucked back into old habits and I know I'm not the only one who deals with this. I'm working on finding the balance between doing nothing and doing too much.
