Replace the damaged part with another piece

In simple cases and following surface damage, carpet cleaning can be done at home; If the warp and weft of a part of the carpet is completely destroyed, you can do the following to remove the carpet :

First, identify the damaged part and mark its circumference.
Then carefully cut out the damaged part that you want to repair, you can do this with scissors, a razor or a sharp knife.
Keep the usable pieces as they may come in handy later in the shelving.
Now cut a piece of old or unused carpet that is the same color as your carpet.
Now place the new piece in the cut place of the first carpet and sew it patch from the back of the carpet.
Pay attention to the fact that the new piece of patch that is going to be used in refinishing the carpet must have the same texture and even knots as the damaged carpet.
Repair of machine carpet tears
If your car carpet is torn and you want to repair it, you can sew the edges together from below with a thread of the same color as the carpet background. To do this, you need a large knitting needle.
Repairing a machine carpet if it is partially torn is not a difficult task, because after 2 pieces are joined together, the piles of the carpet will prevent the damaged part from being seen.
Restoration of rotten carpet
If your carpet has decayed, it is better to improve its quality as soon as possible, because otherwise, this decay will penetrate into the weave of your carpet and cause the rate of decay to increase.
Also, don't forget that the carpet must be washed before cleaning so that its original colors are not different from the colors that are going to be used.
Now you need to look for threads that match the color of the designs of the rotten part. After getting the right thread and needle, you can fill the empty parts with new thread.
For this, you need to pass the needle through the knots in the floor of the carpet and pull out the thread.
Then, adjust the length of the thread with the length of the main piles of the carpet and cut it with scissors. Try to create a smooth and uniform surface.
Of course, this technique works when the decay and loss of carpet fibers are minor and brief.
