Reel Recovery proves there is much more to fly fishing than just catching a fish. The participants go from courageous conversations about their cancer to standing in the middle of a river casting a fly to hungry fish. Many are learning to fly fish for the first time. The total immersion into nature helps take men fighting cancer to a better place. The attached video is from a Spring retreat in the Hill Country of Central Texas. After the free fly fishing retreat weekend concludes, participants and volunteers, go home with a new perspective toward life.
