Overlanding in ALBANIA on narrow tracks 20 April 2023

The route goes a follows:
NL - DE - AT - IT - GR - AL - MK - BU - RO - HU - SK - CZ - DE - NL
We were on the road from 4 April to 16 June 2023

"Over landing" comes from the German expression "über land fahren"
Meaning driving ("small") country roads!

We set the GPS navigator on avoid motorways, find the Shortest route and we also allow tracks.

Because the SH74 track was not a success with the standard front coil springs,
we turned back to the campsite Kampingu Kanioneve.
To day we are leaving that place again, driving back and following the gorge again.

At 1:25 sec Sheep on the road always fun, but not as much as cows.
The road back trough the gorge and the villages was also very nice
At 26:35 sec skipped a bit
At 53:46 sec got some diesel
At 1:25:21 sec the end of the interesting parts of this day

we ended on coordinates
41.130278, 20.135000 on Camping Fridolin

On the rear axle we have VB air bags.
But in the front still the original coils that means on a full loaded camper no spring travel left. Meaning a very hard and uncomfortable ride on the tracks.

When we get back we will get MAD front coils.
Driving in an AWD Ford Transit AWD (Karmann Dexter 570)

The Navi is a Garmen Overlander that has POI’s that show very places to camp and beside the normal road maps also topographic maps!
Navigating the shortest roads between two points, include unpaved roads. It is really the nicest way to get your self into interesting problems.

The Dexter has Cooper Discoverer A/T3 235/75R16 MS Tyre's
Mostly I ride with the Tyre's at 4.0 bar, if the road turns to off road I go down to 2.5 in sand even to 1.5 bar.

1 240V 1100W compressor with 6l tank, running on an Inverter
2 Recovery Board Tracks (MAX TRACK TYPE)
1 4 Ton Come-Along Cable Puller 10m steel cable with only 5m on the spool.
1 Lashing strap, 10m 5.0tons
1 Wood hacksaw 50 cm
1 medium size Ax
1 Tire repair kit
1 box of fuses
WD 40 - tyraps - duct tape - some nuts and bolts
1 Basic tool set - spanners – screwdrivers - etc
