• Visit the Navy Federal Credit Union website at www.navyfederal.org {the link is in the description} and enter your account credentials to log in.
• From the navigation bar on your account’s homepage, select Transfer or Payments.
• Select Wire Transfer from the options list.
• On the website, there are two forms that you will need to download depending on whether you want to make a domestic transfer or an international transfer.
• You will be required to provide your details: your Name, your Address, and your Account Number.
• You will also have to provide the recipient’s account details: their Name, Address, Account Number, and their Account Type. Also, the name of the bank the recipient banks with, its Address, and Routing Number.
• Next, enter the amount of money you wish to transfer and specify the currency in case of an international transfer.
• Check to make sure all the information you have keyed in is accurate before proceeding.
• You will then be required to authenticate the transfer using a code or password.
• A processing fee will be applied. 14 dollars for domestic transfers and 25 dollars for international transfers.
• A notification message will be sent via email once the transfer is processed. It typically takes up to 2 days for domestic transfers and up to 7 days for international transfers. You can track the status of your transfer using a confirmation code sent in the notification message.
