Farkle Flip is a card game version of the dice game Farkle. The object of the game is the same: be the first person to score 10,000 points. But how you score the points is different because there are no dice involved. In Farkle Flip, you draw cards and try to make card combinations, such as four of any number, three pairs, or three of one number.

To start the game, shuffle the cards and deal one card facing up to each player. The card in front of you is not "yours". All players can play off of all players' cards. Place the remaining deck of cards in the center of the playing area. Choose one player to be the scorekeeper. (You'll need a pencil and paper.) The first player draws a card from the deck. If it's a number card, that player can place the card with the card in front of him or the card in front of another player. He continues drawing one card at a time, placing it in front of himself or another player. If he creates a scoring combination, he can either slide the combination to the center of the area for potential scoring or he can leave the combination where it is and try to build on it for bigger scoring potential. This player can stop drawing at any time and score any points that have been moved to the center. Once scores are entered on the scoreboard, they are safe. But, if the player ends up drawing a Farkle card, he must stop drawing cards. Any cards in the center of the play area cannot be scored, and these cards now become part of the face-up pile in front of that player. Play moves to the left, continuing until one player reaches a score of 10,000 or more. At that point, the other players get one more turn to try to beat that player's score.

Farkle cards do count for points but only when a player scores other points. If you have four twos in the center and stop drawing to take that 1,000 points, and you also have three Farkle cards in your possession, you would add another 300 points to your score. Farkle cards MUST be scored as soon as you score a combination.

Farkle Flip comes with 110 cards: 14 each of 1--6, 22 Farkles, and four score summary cards. The game is for two or more players.
