I have been wanting to go solo to #TheTotemPole on Cape Hauy for years. I just had to work up to it. I knew I had to be really careful not to trip up and break a limb or give myself another brain injury (always a distinct possibility).
This walk reinforced the notion that what is an easy walk in the park for some people is really quite scary for others.
It’s does one good to have a sizeable dose of training in empathy and compassion!
