2021 Maruti Swift City Mileage II 2021 Swift Fuel Economy II New Swift Mileage II 91Wheels

We bring you the mileage test of the new and updated 2021 Maruti Swift. We drive this hatchback for 128 km in the city with speeds between 50-60 kmph and AC was ON at 25 degrees with two people on board. The ARAI certified fuel economy of the Maruti Swift new model is rated at 23.20 kmpl for the 5-speed manual but we were sure it will churn out more. In this mileage test we did the review, a little off-roading, drove through traffic, slight open roads, did performance runs and stopped the car every now and then to show how an average person drives around. We started our journey from Delhi and then we went to Gurugram then later to Noida and then later to Delhi to drop the car off. Overall, the new Swift has that outright performance and it performed in the city well and you can stretch it on open roads also. However, due to the lighter weight, the cars roll a lot and has its suspension to a stiffer side.
The new Maruti Swift is powered by a 1.2L DualJet VVT Petrol Engine which churns out 90 PS of power with 113 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual as standard and an optional AMT unit. The ARAI certified fuel economy of the manual sticks to 23.20 kmpl while for the AMT it is 23.76 kmpl.
