Instructions:

If you follow these steps, you'll get the “A-fish-ionado (Reeled in 30 Whoppers while fishing)” achievement in no time. I've already caught over 100 Whoppers this way.

→ Scarlet Forest | Area 17 | Big Lake (middle)
→ Rest & set Plenty & Nighttime
→ Tentacle Jig (from "Razzle Dazzle" Quest)
→ Throw slightly "above" the head (the Squid swims backwards)
→ Circle the stick of controller (really slow! It’s not supposed to “reel”!)
→ You can get one or two per rest
→ Ignore the Gajaus — they’re no fun

💡 Pro tip: When the Goliath Squid sticks out its head, start reeling just before it bites (01:51)! When you get the hang of it, you might be able to pull it out in one go the first time it’s tired. But don’t overdo it — otherwise smaller fish will bite instead.

📝 Notes:
• The very large Goliath Squids are further in the back, need to be tired twice, and may require you to throw out your fishing rod twice or thrice. Also, they move more or less often toward obstacles.
• You may want to use a Ghillie Mantle if you don’t want a Lagi to interrupt your fishing adventure. 😄
