After a long drive to the Poconos, we finally arrived in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania for the start of our weekend getaway! Day 1 started with a stop at the World’s Largest General Store — Country Junction — a place packed with quirky finds, nostalgia, and small-town charm.

From there, we checked into our hotel, which turned out to be surprisingly spacious and comfortable — one of the best stays we’ve had in a while. But the night took a turn when we visited a local pub for dinner... let’s just say the service was rough and the food wasn’t great.

Still, this was the beginning of an unforgettable Poconos adventure. Watch to see the highs, the lows, and everything in between from our first day in Jim Thorpe.
