I've always loved this song - from when I first heard it as a kid, to singing it (terribly) in one of my not-so-great college bands (worth mentioning that we were inspired to do it by Saves The Day's cover), to pepping up every time I heard it appear in countless TV ads, to hearing it more recently on shows my family loves like Stranger Things and The Goldbergs, to now covering it in my basement as a middle-aged wannabe rocker. It's still fantastic every time I hear it. Great, great song - and seems strangely fitting for the times we live in.
