Описание к видео GLENOHUMERAL JOINT{ Angle of inclination & Torsion}

Shoulder joint or glenohumeral joint is a ball and socket type of synovial joint formed by atriculation of glenoid fossa of scapula with head of humerus.The glenoid fossa is a shallow concave facet and is very small compared tp nearly spherical shape of head of humerus. The type of joint, the degrees of freedom as well as proximal and distal atricular surfaces are discussed in detail.
Further the angle of inclination of humerus and angle of torsion of humerus is discussed in detail along with anteversion and retroversion of humerus.The normal
Angle of inclination is between 135 to 150 degree and angle of torsion is 30 degree posterior.
There is also detailed description of glenoid labrum and its functional siginfiance in shoulder joint or glenohumeral joint.
