This video was a long time in the making. I receive and read so many comments here on youtube, my blog, and elsewhere. And ever so often I stumble across a comment by a fellow knitter that makes me sort of cringe. Now mind you, I believe that in knitting, everyone is free to choose as long as it brings them joy.
But that is exactly my point. Some of these knitters evidently don't have fun. They feel they are too slow or not good enough. And sometimes, the reason why they are not enjoying the craft makes not much sense if you look at it from a distance. At the end of the day, it all boils down to self-doubt, insecurities, comparing yourself with professionals, and accepting a larger burden than you would have to.
So, I do hope this video will help you approach this hobby a bit differently.
