During my university studies I moved from Finland to Southern Europe to study abroad in Barcelona, Spain for 5 months (September 2018 to January 2019). Today I'll share my thoughts about some of the pros and cons of living in Barcelona. 🙌

In my last video I talked about why I think Finland is a good place to live and in today's video I want to share my thoughts on reasons why Barcelona is a good place to live. However, I also want to discuss the negatives about living in Barcelona from a foreigner's perspective because as any other place, even Barcelona isn't perfect. 😃

Living abroad as a student is a fantastic experience and living in Spain has its perks. I had a great time living in the beautiful city of Barcelona. It has the perfect combination of beach and city, there are plenty of lovely restaurants, cafes, bars, and there are so many things to do in Barcelona. I also loved the weather in Barcelona since it was sunny almost all the time and quite warm even in the winter, at least when compared to the Finnish winter. The rent in Barcelona can be expensive though and it can be a bit challenging to find a place to rent in the city.

Anyway, studying abroad is a great experience and I recommend anyone to experience it! It's a great way to learn about different cultures and also to see your home country from a different perspective.
