Gina Rinehart crowned Business Person of the Year

The Australian Financial Review has named Gina Rinehart as its Business Person of the Year for 2023.

Peter Dutton congratulated Ms Rinehart on the award, labelling it a “testimony to the work of an Australian patriot”.

“Ms Rinehart herself explained during an entertaining speech about Blind Freddie that in agriculture it’s no longer the dangerous fires, droughts, floods that are the main problem,” Sky News host Rowan Dean said.

“But it’s manmade ones – it’s government ones.

“Ms Rinehart went on to explain what Blind Freddie can see – that farmers are terrified by the amount of prime agricultural land being swallowed up by the madness of Chris Bowen’s policies.”
