PioNeur: Youth Entrepreneurship and Technology Academy (YETA) is a free program that assists underserved, low-socio-economic youth technologists in developing their skills into successful businesses.

PioNeur: Youth Entrepreneurship and Technology Academy (YETA) believes that the way to address youth unemployment is to support young people in creating their own businesses. PioNeur: Youth Entrepreneurship and Technology Academy (YETA) provides a fullscale range of services starting with introducing the concept of an entrepreneurial mindset, product or service creation, management training, and end venture capital financing.

PioNeur: Youth Entrepreneurship and Technology Academy (YETA) plans to construct several project-based, service programs that will use challenges from various skill-based areas as learning opportunities. Young people are more likely to prefer self-employment than adults, but at the same time, the rate of youth self-employment is low. Youth entrepreneurship is important because youth have the interest and potential to become self-employed while young in a society where even adults are having difficulties with employment prior to the pandemic.

PioNeur: Youth Entrepreneurship and Technology Academy (YETA) works with youth in the inner-city Miami neighborhoods, Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), and additional local businesses to increase Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in the entrepreneurship and technology industries. PioNeur: YETA focuses on serving students of underserved and underrepresented racial, ethnic, gender, and economic backgrounds that have traditionally been excluded from the entrepreneurship and technology industries.

PioNeur: Youth Entrepreneurship and Technology Academy (YETA) plans to solve the issue of the gap in resources and capital available to entrepreneurs of lower socio-economic backgrounds as well as address high unemployment in youth in inner-city Miami, Florida. 4
