DAILY BREAD:

Introduction: Names That Seem Small, Stories That Matter.
These chapters are filled with names most of us skip past. But to God, none of them are filler. He sees the full story behind every name—ordinary people, quiet families, and even those with painful pasts. God's faithfulness weaves through each one. If He remembers them, He won’t forget you.

Lesson One: God Values Every Generation.

What do the verses mean?
The genealogy covers tribes and families across generations. Even when the people were scattered or struggling, God recorded their names.

Why is this important for us?
God doesn't overlook anyone. He keeps track of those who belong to Him. Even when the world forgets, God remembers.

How do we apply it in our daily life?
• Don’t believe the lie that your life is too small for God to use.
• Be faithful where you are—God sees and honors it.
• Teach the Word of God to others and help establish a generation of faithful followers.

Lesson Two: God’s Grace Continues Through the Broken.

What do the verses mean?
Jonathan’s son, Merib-Baal, was disabled and lived with hardship. But God preserved his name and legacy.

Why is this important for us?
God doesn’t remove the broken parts of our story—He redeems them. His grace moves through the weak, not just the strong.

How do we apply it in our daily life?
• Bring your wounds to Jesus. What was once a source of shame can become a platform for His glory.
• Let your pain become part of your testimony, not just your history.
• Don’t condemn yourself for a broken past or for mistakes you’ve made. Trust in God’s grace and move forward.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for seeing me and knowing me by name. When I feel discouraged or unworthy, remind me that I matter to You. Use my story—broken and all—for Your glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
