So I got eggs on ebay like many times before and the very expected has occured....screwed up air cells- you can almost count on that happening with shipped eggs. Here is what I am doing about it. Don't give up until an egg is confirmed dead.

Just candled the OK eggs and we have 100% fertility so far....8 babies ok and growing...the one other egg is too soon to tell. 3 eggs whose air cells I wasn't happy with and are borderline got put into the hospital incubator to firm up those air cells just in case. Once the air cell stabilizes then they can go back with the others. That happens by 12 days if it is going to happen so only 9 days left. Resisted the impulse to candle the hospital eggs...nope, I just need to let them be. Obviously I am doing correctly....they are likely just as fertile and growing as the eggs that don't have the loose air cells.
