SPECTACULAR APPROACHES! The VERY BEST of Runway 31 Arrivals at LaGuardia (LGA)

Welcome to my first spotting video from LaGuardia - it has been a long time since I last made a NYC spotting vid - this time it features the incredible 31 approach!

Situated in Queens, New York; LaGuardia Airport is one of 3 main airports serving the greater New York region.
As the airport does not have U.S Customs available, it only offers domestic flights (except for pre-clearance), the airport also has restrictions on weights, slots and a curfew. Despite this, the airport was the 21st busiest airport in the U.S at 31 million passengers in 2019. The airport is also hub for American Airlines and Delta.

Air Canada and WestJet are the only international carriers at the airport serving Montreal and Toronto; the carriers take advantage of pre-departure clearance.

New York is one of the busiest airspace in the world with most flights flying to Newark (EWR), Kennedy (JFK), Teterborro (TEB) or Laguardia (LGA), because of this, many flights have to take very interesting routes, like the "31 Expressway visual" which was used today.

As you will see, this makes for some great low level bank angle shots as pilots make the final corrections for runway 31. This was filmed along Flushing Bay Promenade, across the Flushing bay.
