What's going on my friends?! Sean Pierce Johnson here and welcome back to Stompbox Saturday! Today, I'm excited to put the first of THREE new Space Echo pedals onto the stompin' block: the NUX Tape Echo. This pedal, part of NUX's Verdugo series, is an expanded version of their TAPE CORE Deluxe pedal. This pedal was often held in high regard and now the TAPE ECHO brings it to another level.
Not only is the NUX Tape Echo capable of the classic Space Echo-style thing, it also has a SOUND ON SOUND looping mode. You can record loops with Echo tones until your heart's content. It has a lot more, but we really need to worry about how good it sounds! So let's do it.
