Designed to replace the aging A-4 Skyhawk for the United States Navy, the Vought-built A-7 Corsair II initially entered service during the Vietnam War. Known for its ability to carry an immense weapons payload, the A-7 saw extensive combat during its operational life. Join curator Matthew Burchette as he takes you into the cockpit, highlights the advanced armament system, and even talks with a former A-7 pilot who flew the very aircraft on display at the museum with the Colorado Air National Guard.
