Araku railway station (station code:ARK) is an Indian railways station located near Araku Valley in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It belongs to South Coast Railway zone under Waltair railway division. The railway station is situated at about 935 meters elevation.
Distance between Visakhapatnam to Araku by Road is 115 Kms
You can use rail while going there, get down at Borra Caves, from there you can go by road to Araku. While returning, you can use road. You can experience the tunnels while going and valleys while returning. It is better to halt for one night at Araku to take full enjoyment of the place.
The fastest train from Visakhapatnam to Arakku is the Visakhapatnam - Kirandul Express which covers a distance of 126 kilometres in approximately 3 Hours .
