What tool did you use to remove the bearing from the ring gear?

Place the spline in a vice with the ball bearings facing down. Heat the ball bearings with a heat gun and gently tap the bearing with a hammer and flat pin punch. Note the 4 holes on the opposite side of the ball bearings made just for this purpose.
