Caripill tablet is essentially a Carica papaya leaf extract. The Carica papaya contains enzyme papain. Papain is proteolytic in nature and can digest non-living proteins. This enzyme improves digestion, while papain is used to treat less digestion disorders. Papaya leaves helps in the digestion of proteins, carbohydrates and fats. They are also helpful in curing ulcers. Due to its alkaline nature and disintegrating properties, it is used in the treatment of Dyspesia.

Caripill tablet is a botanical drug that is also available as over-the-counter product. It is available both in the tablet and syrup form. Micro Labs Ltd manufactures “Caripill” as an antidote to the dengue.
Composition and Nature of Caripill :
Caripill tablet is a botanical pill and is composed of the Carica extract of the papaya leaf. Every tablet consists of 1100 MG of Carica papaya leaf extract and the syrup of Caripill consists of 275 MG / 5 ml of the extract of the Carica papaya leaf. The extract helps to increase the platelet count in ailments like Thrombocytopenia which is the main symptom of dengue.
