MERMAIDS OF THE GREAT LAKES - A mermaid song about the freshwater mermaids who live in the Great Lakes. Did you know that there are mermaids not all mermaids live in the ocean? That's right! This video shows footage of the "real mermaids" that swim in the Great Lakes and beyond! This video, and the accompanying music, will take you on an adventure through Lake Michigan, Lake Huron, Lake Superior and other Michigan lakes and rivers where you'll see the various mermaids (and selkies) that dwell in the water.

Many of them enjoy seeing the mermaids swimming in the summer, so hopefully they'll enjoy this song that sings about some of the mermaids they are likely to meet.

*I am a professional mermaid performer. With the exception of the video clip featuring my sister, all of the mermaids and selkies in this video are me in various mermaid costumes. I am not AI and my tails are not CGI. My dad and I swim all over the state of Michigan (and beyond) in various lakes and rivers (which absolutely includes the Great Lakes) to film mermaid videos and to perform at events to make children and families smile. We do our best to keep local mermaid legends alive and well.
