Chris Cornell was the reason I started singing. He's had a profound influence on my singing and songwriting, and to honor his life and genius, I wanted to do something special.

I used to scream along to this song as a teenager until I blew out my voice. The way Chris hit such incredibly high notes with so much power absolutely blew my mind. The first time I heard "Say Hello to Heaven," I knew I wanted to do "THAT." So, here's my version of Temple of the Dog's "Say Hello to Heaven."

Each layer to this song was a complete take, including the vocals. There's no pitch correction or fixing.

I hope this does the original some justice. RIP, Chris.
