Violin tune idea using a virtual instrument

I enjoy spending time recording new tune ideas using my computer and a DAW (Sequencer recording program). I started making multi-track recordings when I bought an Akai 4000DS reel to reel recorder in the late sixties, which allowed me to record one sound on top of another.

Things have certainly progressed since those daysand now what can be achieved on a digital computer is only limited by the musician's imagination.

No longer do you have to run two tape recorders to achieve a bit of reverb, or even stick the microphone in a bucket, those days are long gone, haha.

Anyway, I thought I would show you one way in which I can use a keyboard, a computer, a sequencer and a virtual instrument, to explore new ideas for melodies and demonstrate the recording and playback process in action. Which I hope you find interesting.
