Dark, gritty, and rebellious aren’t how pop stars are usually described, but that doesn’t seem to faze Halsey. Taking cues from electropop and synth-pop, the superstar’s hits including “Closer” with The Chainsmokers, “Him & I” with G-Eazy, “Bad At Love,” and “Now Or Never” rule the airwaves.
