Android Q Beta 4 is here! In today's video, we go through all the exciting new changes coming in Android Q. Google has focused on three new areas in Android Q, innovation, privacy and security. And with all the new notification settings, it's easy to see that they are making an effort to stop apps from your location in the background.

The download for beta 4 is 384mb and took roughly 25-30 minutes to install on my Pixel 2XL. Beta 3 has been rock solid on my Pixel 2 and I'm really excited for the full release in the next few months.

In today's video, we go over all the updates to beta 4 which include:

Swipes:
Swipe Gesture Improvements in apps like Files and other native apps. Although the swipes aren't still on iOS level it's great being able to move between screens in Messages etc.

New Theme Colors:
Android has rolled out two additional theme colors this time around - Although I can't say I love either haha.

A new dark themed search bar:
As you can in the video, the search bar is now dark themed to match dark mode from beta 3.

Design language:
The day, date and weather are a bit bolder on the home screen.

Notification tray:
I did notice that the music app is every so slightly better than beta 3.

AOD:
The time is now a bit bolder, and if you have music playing it no longer shows the music app - and it also makes the time smaller.

Dynamic System Updates:
I wasn't able to test this, but I did find someone who has this option: https://9to5google.com/2019/06/05/and...

Navigation Pill: It's smaller this time around. I'm glad they've made it smaller in beta 4.

Pixel Presence: A smart lock that allows you check your phone easily while you're at home connected to a particular bluetooth device.

Adaptive Notifications: Google has put more into making your main apps a priority and anything else can be a gentle notifications.

Bubbles: Bubbles is back! I can't wait for this feature! I'm looking forward to this to rolling out!
