Political stalwart Ghulam Nabi Azad, who recently quit Congress, has again heaped praises on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The 73-year-old leader from Jammu and Kashmir said that he used to think of PM Modi as a “crude man”, but his perception changed after the 2006 Kashmir grenade attack in which tourists from Gujarat were killed. Ghulam Nabi Azad also rubbished Congress’ claims that he was politically close to the PM.
