Normal video resumes tomorrow but for a special #farm24 video I have been to Penrith auction machinery sale for a preview of what’s happening tomorrow, there was everything Firat thing was the array of Massey Fergusons, I’ve never seen a Massey 158 before and with a number plate from court field ATV svs who supply the ‪@CFMOTOOFFICIAL‬ round the corner from us, then to come home and find one on eBay for sale NO WAY, cubicles, livestock trailers, iforwilliams for days, a Marshall stock box like ours but galvanised you can really see how it’s worth doing, some snazzy little old Renault John deeres. Toppers and all sorts of ground care machinery, anyhow I’ll call back in tomorrow to see how the bucket does and have a look at what a couple of crushes make as that’s what we are needing now. The older stuff will go over to Ireland I’m thinking there’s usually a big queue of Irish Lorrie’s parked up to take stuff back over, they wouldn’t fit that huge Bailey trailer on mind you it was colossal.

name is Charlotte Ashley and as of earlier this month I’m a dairy farmer and we milk 120 jerseys and associated followers on two Lely astronaut A5s
-A quick rundown if you are new to the channel I’m not from farming, Social media started as a casual interest in photography and farming combined I was a very green city girl and had a very excitable view of farming sharing it with my friends from city areas and it has grown from that into youtube and all other associated platforms below.

in 2009 i had no experience of farming or the realities that came with it. That soon changed when I met my other half Roy, I had a job as a carer and in every spare moment threw myself into farming. I had only ever driven a Nissan Micra and had experience with horses, I learnt the hard way as nobody had the time to show me and soon after arriving I found myself mothering on calves to three quarter bred limmy cows. We spent every available moment on the farm between our day jobs. Fast forward to 2016 two children later we moved into our very own farm overlooking the northern Pennines, Laitha.

I am overjoyed to be a farmer. I feel so fortunate every day to wake up and do what I love and even better share it with the world and hope it inspires more young people to spread their wings and think outside the box the world needs more farmers.
