Todays video in the budget overland Project this is a close up video of the solar panels being installed on my 2006 F150 pick up truck. The solar panels are quite large so only 1 solar panel will be permanently mounted. I have no previous experience with solar panels so this will be a good learning curve. I'm hoping for the short term that the solar panels will produce enough power that I won't have to bring my honda EU2000i generator in the bush but relying on the sun to give me my power that i will need for overlanding or camping in the bush.
The kit i got came complete with 2 150 watt solar panels and charge controller it also came with adapters to hook up everything so basically ready to go right out of the box.
