Founder & COO Ye Guofu gained inspiration for MINISO while on vacation and his family in Japan in 2013. He stumbled on many specialty stores in Japan that furnished innovative quality, well-designed, and affordable products. Miniso was founded by Ye Guofu (E GOFU) in the year 2013.

His belief was above “higher the price better the quality concept” and preferred to deliver products with an ideology of “best quality under a low price.”

MINISO is the promoter of global “Intelligent consumer products.” Sticking to the life philosophy of “Simplicity, Nature and Good quality” and the brand proposition of “Returning to nature, Miniso sets the trend of “Consumption of quality products” in the frontier market of fashion consumption.
Miniso initially established a retail presence in China, and also the majority of its stores still operate there. Even so, it’s pursued by an aggressive enlargement set up in countries connected with China’s One Belt One Road policy. It has similar international retailers like Mumuso, YOYOSO, USUPSO, and LÄTT cardinal, with looking malls generally having many rival stores. It initially began increasing in Asia: Taiwan, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Nepal, Macau, India, Pakistan, Mongolia, Asian countries, North Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Asian nations, and Bangladesh. Sales in one store in Vietnam on its gap day exceeded $10,000 in one hour. Miniso’s store in Pyongyang was the primary and solely foreign-branded grocery store in the Asian country. It arrived in Australia in early 2017.
