Helmut Jahn was honored by the Architecture and Design Society of The Art Institute of Chicago for his contribution to Architecture and The Art Institute.
This video was commissioned by The Art Institute to honor him and will reside in their permanent collection.
All of the source material was shot for other purposes (much of it by Rainer Viertlboeck ) and combined here to give an overview of Jahn's work in a short and compelling format. Jahn's ideas about context, technology, teamwork, art, drawing and looking into the future are demonstrated here through his work.
