In today’s video, I’m going to show you how to delete your search and watch history in YouTube.

When you’re signed into YouTube, all of your search history and watch history is saved to your Google account. This means that every time you go to YouTube, the search bar will remember all of your previous searches, and your dashboard will display content based upon previously watched videos.

To get started:
1. Open up your browser, and head over to YouTube.com.
2. Once you arrive on the YouTube website, ensure you’re signed in to your account.
3. Now click on your profile icon on the top right of the page, and now from the dropdown menu, click on the “Your data in YouTube” menu item.
4. You’ll now be taken to this “Your data in YouTube” webpage.
5. From here, you can view all of your watch and search history, and delete it.
6. To delete it, scroll down the page, and click on the “Manage your YouTube watch history” hyperlink.
7. You’ll now be taken to this YouTube History page.
8. From here, click on the “Delete” dropdown field. From this dropdown field, you can choose to delete YouTube search and watch history for today, a custom date range, or all time.
9. I’m going to select “All time”.
10. This confirmation modal will now display. Click on the “Delete” button.
11. You’ll now be presented with this confirmation screen, informing you that all of your search and watch history has been deleted.
12. Now, when I go to YouTube.com, none of my search or watch history will be visible.

And it’s as easy as that, deleting your search and watch history on YouTube is an easy task to perform.
