LR Baggs Anthem vs. Condenser Microphone | Side by Side Comparison | Martin HD 28

Hey guys, in this video you will hear the same piece of music recorded 3 different ways side by side.

So you will here a G chord progression played the first time on a condenser microphone (for reference of what the guitar actually sounds like) then with the Anthem SL with no EQ, and finally the Anthem SL with EQ. Then I recorded a flat picking clip, and a finger style clip to try and give you an example of how different styles of music sound with this pickup.

To my ear after you add a little eq, the Anthem sounds really close to the sound of the condenser microphone. Which is what I love about this pickup... it sounds like my guitar, but louder.
