Paynusse Filling
In a pot, combine
Galbani Ricotta cheese made with whole milk
6 cups of milk
2 cups of brown sugar
1/3 cup of ginger
1/8 cup of lemon juice
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1 teaspoon of grated nutmeg

Let it cook for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened.

Goja Dough Mix
In a bowl, mix
3 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
1/4 cup of butter
1/8 cup of shortening
2 cups of water

Knead into a dough, then divide it into small balls. Flatten the dough into round circles.

Filling and Frying
Place a spoonful of Paynusse filling in the center of each circle, seal the edges well.

In a heated pan, add 3 cups of oil and fry the Goja until golden brown.

And there you have it, Paynusse Goja Fry!
