"'Til a Tear Becomes a Rose" is a song originally recorded by American country music artist Leon Everette. It was released in 1985 from his album Where's the Fire. His version of the song peaked at number 44 on Hot Country Songs.

The song was later covered by Keith Whitley as a duet with then-wife Lorrie Morgan. Posthumously released in July 1990, it was the only single from his Greatest Hits compilation album. This version peaked at number 13 on the country singles charts and won the Vocal Event of the Year at the Country Music Association awards.

Stephen Ackles (born February 15, 1966) is a Norwegian singer, pianist and songwriter who mainly plays rock 'n roll inspired by Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Elvis Presley and more. He has Norwegian mother (Bergliot Kittilsen) and American father (Allan Dale Ackles).

Ackles has worked and shared scenes with several world renowned artists such as Elton John, Carl Perkins, Tom Jones, Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Little Richard, Waylon Jennings, Jerry Lee Lewis, Linda Gail Lewis, James Burton and Narvel Felts. Ackles is considered one of Norway's greatest piano entertainers of all time and he has toured on several occasions in Europe including the Netherlands, Belgium, England and Denmark, as well as the USA.

Valentina was born and raised in Radnevo in Bulgaria, a village 30 km south of Stara Zagora. She grew up with her parents and three siblings, where it was her father who introduced her to the music when she was 10 years old. He was a musician himself. When she was 14, her great love and Suzi Quatro became her great role model. The school's orchestra became her first gambling arena.
