A short video of a 1885-CC Morgan Silver Dollar PCGS MS63. With a mintage of only 228,000 coins, the 1885-CC Morgan Silver Dollar has the lowest mintage of all of the Carson City Morgan Dollars. That said, the great majority of the mintage of 1885-CC Morgan Dollars did not circulate at the time and a large number remain in mint state today where they are very popular among collectors. This 1885-CC Morgan Dollar has been graded MS63 by PCGS and is encapsulated in one of the newer-style edge-view holders. The coin is mostly a bright original white color with the slightest hints of toning. The cartwheel luster is very strong on both sides of the coin significantly adding to the overall eye appeal. There are many hits and marks across the coin, especially on the higher points of the design, which have limited the numerical grade. A nice choice uncirculated example of this popular low mintage Carson City Silver Dollar.
