Gwalior is an important city of Madhya Pradesh , also known as city of music because of Tansen who was one f the jewel of nine jewels. The city was ruled by several dynasty starting from huna (6th AD) to Gurjar Pratihar dynasty, Tomar dynasty (12th AD) to delhi sultan, Mughal dynasty (16th AD) to british, Maratha to Sindha(19th AD). So , several historical monuments are still there makes your gwalior trip a historical trip. If you are a lover of Indian history you must visit this place.
