Air Canada Orders ELECTRIC Planes?

On Thursday, September 15th, Air Canada announced that they had entered into a “purchase agreement” for 30 ES-30 aircraft, an electric-hybrid regional airliner under development by Heart Aerospace of Sweden.

The ES-30 will be powered by lithium-ion batteries, and will seat 30 passengers. Let's take a look and see exactly where Air Canada could fly these!
