FBI Reveals New Orleans Attacker's Prior Movements | 10 News First

Investigations into the prior movements of the man who carried out an attack on Bourbon Street in New Orleans on New Year’s Day have found that he used Meta smart glasses to film the street during a trip to the city a few months before the incident.

The FBI said 42-year-old Shamsud-Din Jabbar made at least two trips to New Orleans in the months prior to the attack, one in October and the other in November.

Agents are also looking into the suspect's past visits to Egypt and Canada and whether those trips may or may not have any connections to his actions in New Orleans.
