The Government of Pakistan, Finance Division has issued an important notification regarding Higher Time Scale allowances for federal government employees from BPS-1 to BPS-15.

According to the new policy, all allowances including House Rent Allowance, Medical Allowance, and Conveyance Allowance will now be paid according to the Higher Time Scale, instead of the old substantive pay scale. This clarification resolves a long-standing issue faced by thousands of federal employees.

This notification applies only to federal government employees. Provincial employees and BPS-16 & above are not included.
